7:30 a.m. - 8 oz 2%milk (8g) 10:30 - 2 baked chicken "fingers" - approx 2.5 oz (17g) 1:15 p.m. - 1 cup Kashi Go Lean High Fiber/Protein Cereal and 3/4 cup skim milk - (19g) 5:00 - 1.5 oz of smoked swiss cheese (I LOVE this stuff) and 4 pita chips. (13g) I'm planning to have some frozen scallops for dinner. I haven't tried them yet, but I plan to salt, pepper, sautee and top with a little grated parmesan cheese. We'll see how it goes. I'll probably make a small garden salad to go with it. So far (not counting the scallops for dinner lol) 689 calories 27g fat 59g carbs (the cereal was high) 52g PROTEIN! yay no profect tonight :D I've drank about 30 oz of fluid so far..... Mandy

B - chocolate caramel peanut protein drink S - bran buds w/ ff milk L - leftover ham & beans - SF jello cup S - Boca chix patty D - mexican chicken casserole - bread & butter - side salad S - gotta go tally my cals and then i'll decide........ probably something small - maybe another protein shake?? popcorn??????? Here's a recipe for the mexican chicken casserole - it's different from the one I posted a few weeks ago...... You need about 1 lb cooked/cubed chicken. On days when I am feeling lazy or short on time (like today) I just use a can of chicken breast. 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can diced tomatoes with green chiles 1 cup LF shredded cheese (cheddar or mexican..or whatever you think sounds good) 8 oz cooked pasta (I like the barilla pasta plus for added fiber - protein - use what shape you want - tonight I used rotini - but bowtie are best but barilla doesn't make them in the pasta plus) mix all that up and bake in a casserole dish at 350 for about an hour sprinkle with some parmesan and let sit a few minutes. Yummmo!!!! That's just a rough recipe from memory - I do lots of improvising on this on. Definetely kid approved - my 2 yr scarfs it down like crazy! If you don't do the carbs though you'll have to pass - it's definetely got some carbs!!!

I've been making stupid choices this week...aghhhhhhh I'm so frustrated with myself B - 2 slices bacon L - 1 English Muffin with 2 wedges light laughing cow cheese S - 100 calorie pack cheetos S - small pack of cheesey crackers D - 3oz fish cakes with bite of broccoli & 2 bites of carrots S - 2 oz haagan daz ice-cream OK those snacks have GOT TO GO. I just cannot do good snacks. Back to basics as of today for me. Why do those habits of a life-time keep coming back to haunt me. Oh yes, maybe because they ARE habits of a life-time and I need to realise that and work around them??? DUH
