Ok, this is just a vent post... My problem isn't even all the wonderful food I'm gonna be making and eating on Thanksgiving. I just don't know if I'm going to still be sane by next Monday when my kids go back to school!! I don't know why they gave them the whole week off, maybe just to torture us parents? lol Don't get me wrong, I love them more than life itself, they just know how to push every button I've got! And of course they are always way worse when their dad's not home, heck I remember being like that as a kid, it just really sucks because with my hubbys job he's gone every week for 3 days solid so for those days it's wild, bratty kids who can't seem to hear a word I'm saying. Thank goodness he's supposed to come home tomorrow morning! I'm praying he doesn't get overtime!!! Bobbie

Ha, ha, ha! I can totally relate! My daughter is home for the entire week also and she and my son fight like cats and dogs. I love them to pieces but I'm having one of those "Calgon, take me away!" days! How many days til Monday? Hee, hee, hee! Deanna

Lol! Sounds like we had the same day, too funny! They are in bed now so the house is peaceful (YAY!!). Isn't it funny how sweet and innocent they look when they are asleep? Especially after a day like today! Bobbie

Our county is one of the few around here that doesn't have the whole week off. We only get Wed, Thurs, and Fri. As a teacher and a single woman (no kids to dirve me crazy lol) I can't figure out why we didn't get the whole week off. LMAO..... You'll make it through!!! If I can make it through today and tomorrow with 20 holiday crazy 3rd graders ANYTHING is possible!!! Hope your see your hubby soon! G'night, Mandy

Thanks Mandy, me too! So, since you have school tomorrow do you want an extra 3rd grader? He's really smart and a good kid, he just likes to drive me crazy! lol I hope your day goes well and fast tomorrow and that your kids aren't too crazy!! Bobbie

We have an action packed day. Thanksgiving picture books, coloring contest, and a "talent" show for the school (different students from the school perform). So with all that, lunch, and recess the day should go by pretty quickly.

((((((((((Bobbie))))))))))))))))))) what if y ou let them help you cook? I give my kids jobs to do, my 11 year old chops the onions, celery and carrots, the 10 year old is making pies and his sister the 7 year old is making place cards and table centerpieces. Give everyone a job so they don't make you nuts. I also take the kids on a long walk somewhere so they are not as rambuctious Be Well, ANDI

Thanks Andi! Luckily my hubby didn't get overtime so he's home and like magic they are being so much better today. I know what you mean about them helping out, it really does make a difference! Bobbie
