With only a 1 pound loss this week, I've been a bit grouchy this weekend. So I wanted to post something to boost my spirits. I went shopping this weekend and bought a pair of size 18W dress slacks from Peebles. I needed a shirt to match but didn't find anything I liked. So I remembered a top my mom had (XL) I tried it on and it fit. Most XL's don't fit quite yet because they are a little short on me. But EVERYTHING I tried on Saturday was either 18 or XL it felt great. Just a few more pounds and I'll be out of the plus size department for GOOD! I'm wearing the new outfit today and I feel great!!!!!! I started in 26/28 bottoms and tops. And everything was 3X. Now I'm comfortably in 20 jeans and 18 dress slacks. My tops are 18-20 and XL-1X depending on style. I never thought I would be in 18 anything much less XL at 236 pounds (I'm 5'5). So I just wanted to give you a chance to brag! Lets hear it! Mandy

I'm 4'10 ( a wee bit of a thing) so i'm in a size 14 bottom but i'm going to go try on some 12's at the mall today and i'm in a large/x large top depending on how tight i want it! If it's a cardigan sweater i get the xl so i can wear something under it. I started in a really tight 20. I'm so depressed this week i could just cry. I gained some weight and i know my period is coming but i so wanted to be in the 150's by Thanksgiving and i just don't think thats going to happen, what a bummer. Hugs, ANDI

Well I started at 264 in a size tight 22 loose 24. Shirts 2x to 3 x. On my six month post op day, I weighed and did a little shopping. Here are the results. Six month. 163 pounds down. Size 8 in womans and size 10/11 in I think it is called youth misses. Whoot. I wear a size large shirt for loose and a medium if I dont want to breath to much. I bought some hipsters and feel so young.. even my daughter who is 15 thinks my new clothes rock.... lol

Hi Mandy! You are doing awesome! I'm 5'6" and I now weigh 193. I started in a size 26/28 in pants and I'm now in a 12/14. In tops I started at a size 4X or 30/32 and now I'm in a size 14/16 or a large/xl. It feels awesome! For the first time in a very long time I actually enjoy shopping for clothing! And instead of buying anything that fits, I can now be picky about what I buy and buy it because I like the way it looks on me. It's a wonderful feeling! Deanna

If I remember right, we are about the same height and started close to the same weight. I was wearing mostly 26/28's and a couple of 30 jeans. Now it's the same as you. But, at walmart, I can wear some 16 tops. Rachael
