Whew - I've been MIA - but with good reason. First of all - Deanna - I am sorry I didn't reply to your post. I keep meaning to get on here and post a bunch of recipes but I just haven't found the time. I PROMISE I will. I want to share my turkey meatloaf, crockpot tuna casserole, ham & beans - I just have a ton - but this week has been SO CRAZY!!! I have been on vacation since last Thursday and a whole world of things has happened since then. Most importantly - I found out that we are moving!!! Long story short - we have been trying to sell our house for months so we can move back down to central Illinois - back to my old job. Our house never sold and we sort of gave up. Well - my old company offered us a relocation package and they are buying our house and getting us movers and the whole 9 yards - a very very nice package. We are so excited. We have been down apartment hunting and doing a million things all week!!! Yeah - you read that right - we are moving into an apartment. From our 2800 square foot 4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom 1000 square foot apartment. But only for a year at the most. We need to get our feet on the ground and get our financial situation back under control. So we are making a sacrifice and trying the apartment. We are so excited - it all seems so promising!!!! And hopeful. Anyway....I'll quit babbling. Just wanted to let you all know I'm not ignoring the board!!!

Yay Amy. We don't mind being ignored for a good reason (hee hee). No seriously, this is great news with icing on top. Did your hubby get the job he was going after at the bank? Your old firm must really want you - bet that feels good. Hope the move goes well - think of all the calories you'll be burning off packing and sorting everything to squeeze into your apartment. It can be a cleansing exercise - new you, new life, new home. Get rid of all the stuff / objects that have held you back. Congrats to you and good to have you back around - you were missed. Ruth

Thanks Ruth!! Yep - hubby got the job. His new salary is total crap but the whole "package" they created for us really made it worth it. There's nothing like getting full moving service! He doesn't have to sign a "committment" for it either - so he is free to continue looking for something better if he chooses. We've also discussed him going back to school...who knows.

Thanks Deanna!! It does feel good to be so wanted by my old company!!! And to feel like I will actually have a career there and chance for advancement!!! My last day here is the 29th and my first there is Dec 4th. So I have a long weekend to move. We are just taking what we need though for the apartment. The rest will stay here until the house sells and then go into storage until we get a new house sometime in 9 or 10 months. It's going to be a crazy year!
