This is kinda gross but I was wondering if anyone else has gotten any kind of a rash or irritation in their belly button or on the extra tummy skin? I just noticed one starting and Yuck! So, if I ever want to get the extra skin removed and have the insurance help pay for it I need to document it and take pics (gross) right? Do you think I should go to the Dr. to document it? Probably since insurance can be a pain about things like this, It sucks having to pay the co-pay just to have him write down that there is a irritation, will he even take a pic? I doubt it. I'm just thinking out loud right now... Thanks for any advice and for listening! Bobbie

Take lots of pics and yes go to your doc and they will document it as well. If your doc gives you a script to clear the infection up thats even better.... With this stuff I dont think its possible to document too much.

Hey there Bobbi - I have pink/red itchy skin under my breasts, since they are really drooping. This happens even with a bra. I wouldn't say its infected though, just seems irritated. I guess I should document this even though its not infected. Hope this helps! Heather

Thanks for replying Heather! I'm sorry you're going through this too. Even though I knew it would probably happen it's still a pain!! Bobbie

You can never have too much evidence/documentation if you ask me. If you don't need it then all you have lost is a small co-pay but compared to whether you get insurance to pay for PS or not I think it's worth it - take you own pics even if the doctor doesn't.

Thanks Ruth! I'll be taking pics and going to the Dr. Tomorrow. Hopefully it'll all be worth it (for plastics), and if nothing else I'll at least get rid of this irritation! Bobbie

This is happening to me on the sides of my breasts. Its a combo of droopy boobs and batwings. I went to the doctor so it could be documented and at this point he recommended a particular lotion. Take pics and bring them to the doc to have him put in the file. Rachael

Thanks Rachael. I'm sorry you're having this same issue, what a pain!! That is a good suggestion to bring the dr. a pic for his file, I hadn't thought of that! Thanks again! Bobbie

Hi Bobbie! I had the exact same thing happen underneath my tummy fold skin ... I went to my primary care doctor and he said it's a yeast infection of the skin. He prescribed some ointment to put on it and it went away really fast. I would say take some pictures though ... certainly wouldn't hurt to have extra evidence!!! Deanna
