Sad to say...
Rachael, two pounds is GREAT! I know it may not seem like it when you are aiming for 4 pounds a week. But you will probably hit a week where you'll lose 6 pounds and then you will be back on track! Don't miss out on going to the gym ... tell yourself that you need it to help you keep on track. Don't crawl into bed ... that won't burn any calories! Go to the gym and work hard! You can do it!

Thanks for the support. I can only go so many days on YEAH mode before I crash and need support of my own! I know that two pounds isn't bad, and last week I lost 8 so I know in my head that I was bound for a slower week. sigh. I did lose 12 pounds this month which isn't my losest month so it's not so bad.
I just want to be super motivating for everyone so I will get out of my funk

Hey Rachael
It's so much easier to motivate others than it is ourselves isn't it.
You have totally motivated me. I put up my chain today at work and seeing it hanging there is really helping me.
BUT - while it's great to have a goal to aim for to give us focus, don't get down on yourself if you don't make that goal. Our bodies are a law unto themselves sometimes and I certainly don't understand how they work. So one week they loose loads the next nothing. We've come this far to get off the emotional roller coaster we were on and just get our lives back.
As long as we are working towards the winter wonderland we will get there. It may be in january/february, but what the heck - sometimes snow doesn't come til then either.
It's early days, so try not to get too down about it. plenty more weeks to catch up
WOW i don't think i've lost 4 pounds in a week since the first month i did this. Did you ever think that perhaps you have set yourself up for unrealistic goals? What do you usually lose in a week? My surgeon told me that losing 4-6 pounds was going to be it for me from now on, i was ok with that, i've got about 40 pounds to his goal for me. Be Well and relax you're doing phenomenal. ANDI
