Hair Loss

OK, I've joined the hair loss brigade. There I was sitting very smug with my head held high, and now it happened. My hair is coming out...aghhhhhhhhhhhhh. It must be that I've finally reached over 50lb loss. Oh well, I'll get it back. I'd much rather loose lbs and hair than not loose lbs and hair, if you get what I mean! How long do I have to put up with it til it stops and begins to grow again?

Hi. I think mine lasted almost a month,it is starting to taper off now. Believe me, I was getting worried that I would be bald! Luckily I had thick hair,so saved some money on a haircut! Maybe it happened when I hit the 50 mark,too. I kept reading where people were talking about it and I thought to myself,boy,I'm lucky that hasn't happened to me yet!! And then bam.....it happened!

Girl mine has been falling out for what seems like forever! approx 2 months actually... It has seemed to taper off but then when i think it has stopped ... out come the chunks... so i really cant help ya with this but know that your not the only one lol... im really hoping i dont go bald!

My hair loss was awful for about a month or so, but it's starting to slow down now. I started using Infusium 23 shampoo and conditioner for damaged and weak hair. That really seems to be helping with it. Congrats on the 50 pounds.

Hi Ruth Welcome to the club! Mine has been falling out for 2 months now and still falling.

Welcome to the club, Ruth! Like Sarah, every time I think my hair loss is slowing ... it starts right back up again. I've been losing a lot of it for about 2 months now. My surgeon says it's likely to continue until about 8 months post-op. I'll be on cloud 9 if it ever gets a bit thicker! Dawn

I just pulled an WHOLE handful out of the bathtub drain today, so mine has not slowed down, a bit, and I would have to say on a positive note that there are little shorties that are about 1/2 inch long growing in, so I think that I am starting to replace now. and here is my back to the bad THERE are SOME coming in GREY!!! like WTF??? do I loook old enough to get some GREY"S? I dont freaking think so. this crap will not stand!!! pull those stupid one out and go with thin and brown hahahahaha I totally need someone to voluteer to stand at the top of the stairs, I am such a mood today!!
