I threw up 2x in a row. Tuesday I ate 2 bowls of soup after the kids went to bed after trick or treating and i was cold and tired and ate wayyyy to fast - it came up. THen yesterday I grilled salmon and ate what I thought was small amount but it was really dry and I had to make myself sick because I was miserable for over an hour after I ate. It was horrible, painful and my eyes were swollen and I have broken blood vessels around them ( I looked like I'd been in a fight). Has this happened to you? I hadnt been sick in over a month and then to be so sick 2 days in a row was upseting.Thank Heaven today has been a good day! Still learning! Kathryn

Yep...happened to me twice this week also...I have not been sick for a long while but I know it's from eating too fast. Also, the dreaded Chinese food...that will do it to me everytime.

I got sick on an apple slice. I think I ate it way too fast or something! Hasn't happened to me in a long time either. Kind of nice to get a reminder though, huh?! Deanna

I am sorry to hear this...all of you. I know it's always a possibility, but it still can't be pleasant But, I haven't been sick since I had the surgery. I don't know why. I don't do anything special and I have had some uncomfortable moments..but no sickness. I hope it eventually goes away for ya'll. I am glad you are having a good day. Rachael

I'm with Rachael. I have never gotten sick. I have gotten uncomfortable and one time I did go to the toilet and wished I would get sick. But nothing. I have never been one to throw up easily. I have actually only thrown up once in the past 12 years. *shrug* It was a fear of mine after surgery. Must be my fear of it keeping my body from doing it.

Yes!!!! I still get sick, especially when I attempt some meats. I can't do chicken, roast pork or steak. Sometimes I can handle very moist fish and ground beef. Lately I've been able to go for up to 1 to 1.5 weeks without throwing up, then sometimes totally unexpected will trigger another throwing up session. Yesterday it was lite laughing cow cheese and pork rinds. Actually I think it was the pork rinds. Then I can tolerate something totally unexpected like reduced fat Wheat Thins (tasted delicious, but bad choice) or peanuts. I don't understand it!!

I still get sick for time to time, and am limited on what I can eat, so you're not alone

I've not thrown up since surgery BUT...I got horribly "sick" yesterday after eating 2 bites of dressing (Thanksgiving Dinner at school). I felt so bad I was brought to tears. NOOOOO more dressing EVER for me. Mandy

I'm with Rachel too - - I haven't thrown up once since surgery. I've had a few moments after eating too fast when I thought I might, but didn't. I absolutely HATE vomiting and my goal from the get-go was to not throw up if I could at all avoid it. So far, so good! Karen
