OK How much Halloween candy did you all eat? Come on, be truthful now... I had a handful of toffee popcorn, and 2 chocolate mini eggs...so far. Millie is still up so I may raid her supply when she's gone to bed, or the left overs later, hee hee. Think I'll have to have a protein shake for dinner to make up for it. My thoughts are that it's only one day a year now as opposed to every day before WLS! It is also a minute amount compared to buckets full before. I can live with that So how did you do.......... was there any candy left for the kids????????????? Will you be dumping til Thanksgiving????????????????????

I'm still at school...I've had 1 mini 3Musketeer (sheer heaven...no sickness yet) and we will have some chocolate cookies with orange frosting later...I may sneak a taste if we have extras. Pretty Proud of myself so far.......

Good for you Deb! Well done for putting the hersheys back. You've just made me realise that Halloween is a trial run for Christmas. If we can make it through this then we definitely can make it through Christmas Thanks

Well, it's only noon over here, so nothing. Although earlier today, I DID go to the store to buy candy for the kids coming by to trick-or-treat and I was practically drooling. I have a feeling I'm going to cheat tonight.

Well, I haven't had any candy today but I did indulge in a "fun size" snickers the other day and it was heaven! I'm okay when they aren't in the house, out of sight-out of mind sort of thing. But I'm really scared for tonight after my kids go trick or treating ... how am I going to stay out of their buckets? Oh, that will be sheer torture, I'm sure! Deanna

Nothing. I still have the FEAR in me I am too afraid to try that much sugar. A couple days ago I tried a 100 cal. pack of fudge strip cookies and nearly gagged they were so sweet.

Ok Ruth, I just posted to What did you eat today!!!I am telling the truth NO candy, NO sweets at all!!!But when I got to work today--those crazy people had food everywhere!!! I ate tostada scoop thingys with spinach dip (2 or 3), cheese cubes with crackers (3 or 4), 3 meatballs with bbq sauce, then they brought in Pizza(MY WEAKNESS) I had 2 pieces(squares) of sausage pizza!!!OHhhhh I have been so miserable I did this all in about 2 hours(grazing, snacking)....I soooo know better-I didn't even want my dinner-grilled chicken salad-I don't even want anything to drink. I am not hurting I just feel soooo stuffed!! I've been a good girl otherwise! ~Missy~

I resisted hard all day at work and home. But I gave in after my daughter got back from trick or treating - I had a fun size peanut m&m and a fun size peanut butter m&m. Honestly - I don't really feel that bad about it. It feels good to have gotten a little treat and not binged like I know I am capable of. So I'm actually pretty proud of myself. Last year I bought about 3 bags of candy about a week before Halloween and had to buy more the day of Halloween because I ATE IT ALL!!!!

Yup, that's sounds like me last year. Although I did have some, I'm actually quite pleased with myself for having restraint
