Hi everyone I"m so bummed about my weight loss it's pathetic. I'm scared that my six month window is almost over. I heard that the weight loss slows down tremendoulsly after that. Do anyone have and idea's about what I can do to jump start it again. Thanks, Tierra

Hi Tierra, Congratulations on the 72lbs!!!Tell me when have you ever lost that much in 5 months!! Now, I read your profile & I have to say I am as guilty as the next person about not updating(I haven't since the nite before surgery,You've done better than me)-So I am not sure what you have been doing from August til October. But some suggestions would be make a food journal every day of what you eat go back to basics Protein first, veggie then fruit. Are you drinking your water???How much are you exercising???(switch up your exercise routine as our bodies get use to the same ole same ole).Do you go to a support group meeting???Maybe come here every day there is a post about what have you eat today!!!Those of us that hold ourselves accountable will post even if we ate something we know we shouldn't have!!!(I did today I ate pizza at lunch-but i fessed up feel better & will get back on track tomorrow.)I too am scared my window is about to close!!!It has really slowed down for me!!But from the research I have done we will continue to lose up to 12-18 months but it will be slower so now is the time to be more vigilant about what we are eating & getting in the exercise!!! Boy, I re-read this and I needed to hear it too!!! Thanks & I hope I've helped you some!!!~Missy~

Tierra, From your profile, it looks like your doc would like you to lose 200 pounds. So far, you have acheived 36% of that goal. That's way cool. Don't worry too much about that 6 month mark. I know we all have it in the back of our minds, but I read a lot from folks on the main board who say if you don't concentrate on that honeymoon thing that you can press through it. I would say you are WELL on your way to being down 100 pounds by next year like you mentioned in your profile. If you do slow down...go back to basics. That can NEVER hurt. It makes us realize how we have been adding things back in here and there without really realizing it! Good luck and congrats on the first 72 pounds! Rachael

I am feeling the same way you are! I've lost 67 pounds, which is great, but I haven't lost a pound in about 3 weeks. I still have another 70 to get to goal. So, I totally sympathize with you.

Hi Congratulations on your 72 lbs....... I stalled after 2 ½ weeks learned I was not eating enough. I upped my protein and dropped 4 lbs in 4 days.....but I think we all lose at different rates... They told me the first 6 months was a given.... I don't know what they were smoking... but that's a crock!!!!!!!!!!!!!..... I have found it's work!!! From month 2... exercising, eating right..... and, that no matter what you do, others will lose faster and some slower, but still you are doing much better than any diet you have tried before, and this weight loss will stay gone forever!!!!!!!!!!!.. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cheer up and know we are right there with ya

Right there with you Tierra - My honeymoon has been over for quite some time. I'm trying to refocus on getting my protein and water intake. You're doing a great job! Heather
