im falling apart

where do i start. i just got over a kiddney infection, uti, i found out that i have gall stones, ulcers, and to top it off dammage to my right eye do to all thouse years of diabets. and then i droped 11 lbs this weekend and 5 on fri for a total of 15 lbs lost in 3 days im not complaining about the weight loss just scarred. huggs jenia

Wow, Jenia! You're going through a lot right now! Nice to have a huge weight loss though, huh?! What are the plans for taking care of your gallstones and ulcers? I hope you will be okay! Just think of all the worse damage that would have been caused by your Diabetes if you didn't have this surgery! You are on your way to a healthier YOU! I wish I had some great words of wisdom. Oh Jenia, you poor thing. You must be feeling terrible. Are you under treatment for your problems? I'm sorry to hear about your eyes? Is there anything they can do? Dont' worry about the weight loss - it's probably just your body reacting to being ill. Have you checked it out with your doctor just in case. Hi Jenia, I'm sorry you are going through so much lately! It seems like everything has to happen all at once doesn't it? Hopefully things will start to get better for you real soon! I agree too that if your rapid weight loss is really frightening you, to give your dr. a call. It's better to have answers than sit and worry. This is coming from a chronic worrier! Hugs, Bobbie

((((((((((HUGS))))))))) & 's thats alot to go through and one time but know that the worry and stress will only further complicate your medical issues..............talk to your surgeon and pcp about your rapid weight loss. Sorry to hear about the current issues you are facing. I too had a kidney infection and am having my gallbladder taken out tomorrow because of a large stone. I hope that your ulcers can be treated. How did they discover them? Rachael

Wow Jena, Hope you are feeling better soon!!The kidney infection,uti can be fixed with antibiotics & lots of fluids(water,water,water). The ulcers can also be treated with meds.The gallstones,well I would want the gallbladder removed this could be potentially serious if let go too long (What is your Dr saying?)I am so sorry about your vision in your right eye,but how is your diabetes now that you've had wls?Is it better/gone, just remember you have done the most proactive thing for yourself by having wls & losing weight & eating healthier.Think of how losing all this weight is going to save you trouble down the road as you get older.Email me if you need to talk!Remember you are your own best advocate, push the Drs to do what is right by you. i just finnished anitbiotics for the kidney infection and uti, im taking nexium for the ulcers, and the gall stones they said that they will leave them scince im not having any symptoms right now. but if they start to bother me thall remove them.and the weight loss i take it as im over the plautu i haddent lost anything in 3 weeks. so im glade that im losing again. thans for all the suport huggs jenia

sounds like your body needs some major overhauling. ;) sorry about the uti, drink more cranberry juice works for the kidney infection as well. more fluid to flush the system sorry about the gall stone, I should take my gall stone meds more religiously ulcers, I hear that ibuprofen can accerbate that, just tylenol for me. eyes, sorry, no help for that, just fact of getting old I AM SO TOTALLY NO HELP! ;)
