weekend musings

hey all. I hope you are getting used to the new features. It's kind of overwhelming, but I managed to update my profile and check some new things out. I thought I would get some weekend conversation going. Weekends are hard for me. Too much downtime creates a lot of time to think about food. My gallbladder surgery is getting closer and closer and boy does it need to come out. The pain is getting worse each day. sigh. I am back to getting the house "surgery ready" cleaning and doing laundry. I am hoping it cause a weight loss! I have just been doing homework this weekend as it's fall break this next week and I will be on narcotics. I am trying to get as much done as I can beforehand. What is everyone else up to? Rachael

Hi Rachael It's been a quiet weekend for us. We were planning on doing loads of yard & house work and stuff, but have ended up chilling most of the time, relaxing together as a family (in other words being couch potatoes while Millie plays in the garden / yard...hee hee) I haven't looked around the site much yet, I'll reserve judgement on it till I've got used to it. I'm someone who doesnt' like the thougth of change, likes beign pushed into it and then really likes the risk of it! Anyway, have a restful Sunday. When is your surgery date? Ruth
