Back from vacation
I've been away for a few weeks on a TransAtlantic cruise and just got back. I didn't weigh myself at all while on the cruise (the cruise part itself was 17 days) so I had no idea if I had lost or gained weight. I tried exercising by walking at least 4 miles each day hoping I wouldn't gain any but there were many days I didn't walk at all except around the ship. I finally weighed when I got back home and was pleased to discover I had lost 13 lbs since I started the cruise.
I also added a recent picture to my profile I took a week or so while on the cruise. It's the most recent picture I have.
Rick
That's very kind of you to say Deanna - thank you!
You had WLS the day after I did and I see you've had excellent success - over 100 lbs! Congratulations!! You look great too - you should be very proud. I had a bit of an advantage being a male too because the larger muscle mass helps us lose quicker. I worked out quite a bit before surgery to try to build up my muscles as much as possible for that very reason.
Hey Rick!!!All I can say is WOW You are doing Great!!!I know we are losing all over our bodies, but people tell me they can really see it in my face(no new pics on profile til 6 mths) I really couldn't see it!!But when I look at your pics I can REALLY see it in your face!!!This gives me an idea of what people mean when they say this to me!!You look Awesome!!Keep up the Great work!!So glad you enjoyed your cruise!! ~Missy~
