Hi everyone! I posted on Friday that I was trying to work up the nerve to go to a "Group Groove" aerobics class at the gym. Well, I did it! Not only that, but I talked my husband into going with me which is a MAJOR ordeal in and of itself! Anyway, there were a ton of people there because it was the launch of the class. I couldn't even begin to see the instructor so I didn't know what the heck was going on! I basically flopped around for an hour but worked up a sweat so it must have done some good! I don't know if I feel the need to take the class again but I'm proud of myself for trying it! Next on my agenda of things to try at the gym is Pilates, Spin class, and rock climbing. I'm trying to be brave!!! Thanks so much to everyone who offered me words of wisdom and support! It means a great deal to me to have such wonderful friends here! Deanna

Deanna I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO proud of you - you risked it and it sounds like it was worth it. And to think you inspired your husband to go with you - way to go. You must feel great. Let us know the next challenge Ruth

Deanna, That's what this is all about, isn't it? Getting out there & living life! Not being so self-conscious all the time. People are attracted to others who are enjoying life. I'm ready to live it up!! Hugs, Darlene
