Gallbladder removal time

Hey all. Well since my liver stuffs are improving they said the surgeon can finally take my gallbladder out. It was in fact supposed to come out the day of surgery, but 4 months later...oh well. So, it will probably be the week of the 16th. I am just glad that my bariatric surgeon is going to do it and not someone local. Rachael

I just had this done (tomorrow will be 2 weeks). I feel sooo much better now. I'm sure all will go great. I really wanted my bariatric surgeon to do mine but he is out of network for my insurance ( I was selfpay for my RNY). I didn't get my surgeon but I got the next best thing....the Doctor he studied under and did his residency with. Both are great. I've recovered great and I'm going to start back to the gym Monday (I can't wait). Best wishes, Mandy

Did you swell a lot again. The week after this we have a formal dinner and dance at the seminary (it's like prom for seminarians) and I have a beautiful dress. I hope I can still fit into it. Rachael

Actually, no I didn't. I actually lost 7.7 pounds the week following my surgery.

This is awesome news. I want to be able to wear a dress two weeks after the surgery that I already have and I don't need any extra belly puff in this dress!!!

hi i go monday to my wls doctor he is going to do mine i also have something going on with my live showed up on aa catscan i hope i start felling better after i get my gallbladder out i cant hardly eat anything and im having so much pain how about u tina

I haven't had any pain or problems until this last week. It's mild right now, but I am a time bomb with a very large gallstone. I don't need it to do anything funky and call for a trip to the ER in the meantime.
