hey, do not think for a second that you are the only whiney one. I am whiney about sizes of clothes. like that REALLY matters. what matters is why for the love of mike did I just kype another freaking cookie today? I know they are not good for me I know that I am emotionaly upset about the other board (called, rude, obnoxious and mean, ignorant and by inference: self centered, selfish, and self absorbed) so natrually my tendency is my stand by cookies, cake, and ice cream. so how can I turn this around and make it a learn experience. Plan of Action: Appologize to the injured party, and let the 'entourage' **** in the wind. (DONE) Turn off the oven and stop baking the freaking cookies (DONE) Redirect myself away from the kitchen, stay away from other contraband (DONE) Reflect of what was the first dominoe that set up this chain reaction to avoid duplication (Friday, got sick, completely off balance ever since. WHY?) WHY? (UNRESOLVE) as for my day.. gracious girl, it has been going since 8 am yesterday, I have had the worse case of insomnia for the last 31 hours, and insomnia is just a byproduct of something else. so that has to be resolved first. kat

Kat, you are TOO FUNNY! If you really want to stir up some trouble, why not bring up the issue if a person has "big bones" or not! Hee, hee, hee! Deanna

well now my husband has TINY bones, and I have HUGE bones, he has a BMI of 20 and I have a BMI of 28.3, who is healthier? BMI totally does not take into consideration that his bones are smaller than my granny that is 5 ft 1in. dont get me started, I will definately blow a head gasket, LOL and get myself into all kinds of trouble, they will start sanitizing this board as well

Oh man, don't get me started on MOOD. This is what's on my mind. I love coming to the boards...why...I have no f**ing idea. Because someone can get a hair cut and get 20 replies and I can have a million social events to attend and no idea how to enjoy people's company without having a heaping plate of food and 3 people say "good luck" I have decided that this is what a therapist is for I guess. I made the commitment to see one all while going through this process and it has been valuable because our culture revolves around food. At seminary there are parties every week. It's about community building....no one seems to notice that people are gaining weight every year and that how we are taught to deal with the stress of going into the ministry is eat a lot and drink alcohol. I am trying to get healthy so that I can be a healthy priest and be a good example to folks, but it's tireing here. No on understands that the world doesn't actually revolve around buttered popcorn or cheesecake cuz it's too easy to just go with the flow. There are TONS of healthy people that would rather go for a walk than eat cake. I want to know how in the world to I "turn into" one of those people along this journey way more than I am mad that I didn't lose any weight in the last two weeks. Sigh...I am pissy right now too. every post wls event that i have seen posted on this site involves FOOD. we to to a monthly support group, what do they want to do after? EAT. hello. surely there is a way to GET TOGETHER as a group that doesnt not involve FOOD. maybe that is the problem, our society is based on having a drink together, having a meal together, getting together for LUNCH, I swear I am so totally there with you. we met last week with the vocalist for my daughters wedding, where? jason's deli. why? to have LUNCH. you can not 'talk' with food in your mouth. but most people have social phobias and do not know what else to do but eat and small talk around the eating. we have a babyshower, there is a food table we have a bridal shower, there is a food tray we have a rehearsal wedding, there is a DINNER we have a wedding, well food will be at the reception we have a blessed funeral and you know there will be FOOD afterwards. good god! is there anything else, other than picnics, barbques and buffets? oh yeah. potlucks. enough without the food. we have to rack our brains, what can you do together that involves community spirit that does not require a plate, fork and spoon? I know that every activity that I go to at church outside of the service involves a dinner and or a desert.

I totall agree with your last post. Everything in this world revolves around food. When I was younger and I did something good, I was rewarded by going out to dinner. We always had big dinners when family came into town. Next week at work, we are having some kind of Employee Appreciation week and guess what the theme is? FOOD!!! Cupcakes, Ice cream and all kinds of fattening foods are on the menu. Our society tries to make us feel worthless if we are "fat" yet everywhere you go there's food. Sorry, that just makes me mad! GRRR!

Ms. Kat, you are such a hoot!!! Why just do photography, you should write or do stand-up. Go on tour with Carlos Mencia (if you've never watched him on comdey central, do it soon). : Back to the subject: this morning my co-worker told this story - she asked her husband if he wanted to go to a family reunion in Abilene this weekend. (we are in Bryan/CS). His answer..... You mean you want to drive 4 hours for a chicken leg and a scoop of potato salad??? I hope it comes across as funny in this post as it was in person ROTFLMAO Later ladies, Cindy

the sad part is that my husband and I just had this conversation last night, his co-workers go out for lunch every friday, I like a couple of them, and used to be included. I have not in the last few years. I told him that I would like to be and he said, but what would you eat? (they go to chipotles) I swear, he thinks that I have no social skills. I think I can go to a mexican resturant and eat with people. it is funny though all the events for the rest of our lives that are based on food. totally missin the comradrie of the event.
