scalp therapy????

My hair dresser recommended a scalp and hair conditioner for me. She said it might stimulate new hair growth faster. Since I've been so paranoid about hair loss and going bald, I bought it immediately. I don't know if it's going to stimulate more rapid hair growth, but I can tell you this...the stuff feels wonderful when you put it on. It's got some kind of mint in there that feels absolutely fantastic!! So even if it doesn't "energize" my scalp and hair growth, I'm using it for the stimulation!! The name is "Nioxin" Bionutrient Protectives Scalp Therapy. (For Chemically Enhanced Hair-Moisturizing and Energizing Scalp and Hair Conditioner.)

Wow Gail I wasn't sure if it was you - I had to look back on your previous posts just to check... you look so different - great! Is it the new shampoo or the weight moss - I'm sure I know the answer and it's not the shampoo Ruth

The new picture I posted today isn't showing up on my computer so I had to go back and see which one was there. My husband took several as we were leaving the house to go to a book signing yesterday. I don't know why, but the photo for my posts is the one my husband liked best and wanted me to use??? Personally, my hair is too light and I look like a toothless wonder, oh well, I'll get him to take some more some other time. I wanted to get a picture when I reached the 100 lb. lost mark, so I settled. As far as that scalp treatment...let me tell you, that stuff's addicting!! I posted a different picture in my profile that's closer to the same pose at 6 wks., so I could see if I could tell any difference. I can see a difference and I can especially see how much thinner my hair is now!!!

Gail, I love Nioxin. I have been using it for about a year and half now. I use it for the stimulation, I love how it feels on my scalp and it also helps clear my head in the morning. I have had minimal hair loss, just slightly more than my normal breakage. Not sure if it's the Nioxin or not, but I'm definitely not going to stop using it now Diane

and where can we get this wonder product cause i'm shedding like the dog on my head but FEAR NOT i've got the legs and arm pits of a sasquatch so what i plan to do is a full body comb over should i need it for my head!!!! It feels so empowering to at least have a plan. Be Well, ANDI

I got mine at my hair salon where I have my hair done. I've heard that Drug Emporium carries some of the Nioxin products.
