Finally, a goal weight

I visited my nutritionist yesterday. One of the questions I had for her was...what's my goal weight. When I asked my surgeon, he said that the nutritionist should have talked to me about this. Weird as that my sound...I thought...ok. I was incredibly disappointed by her goals for me. She said I should weigh between 210 and 175. That is 50-75% loss of my excess body weight. Boy are they shooting low. I want to lose 100% of it. Well, in the meantime...I decided My first goal will be 175. A funny addition to this story was that as I got over 300 pounds I would get depressed everytime my husband would watch football and I would hear the announcers give a guy's weight and it was MY weight. So my husband said to think of it this way: I went from an Offensive Lineman to a Linebacker.......means nothing to me, but I decided I wanted my first goal to be less than the smallest professional football player. My husband found it. I want to weigh less than Fernando Bryant, number 25 for the Detroit Lions who weighs 175 and plays Corner Back. heheh Rachael

Rachael, That so funny about the football players. Early in my profile I mentioned the same exact thing!! My husband and I both love football and I remember last fall wincing when one of the announcers would say something like he's a really BIG boy, I would sure hate to hit him-- and would then give his weight and height. I would cringe because I outweighed the player and he was over 6 feet tall, (I'm 5'7"). At least this fall, I don't outweigh them all, still some, but like you I want to be able to watch a game and ALL the players outweigh me!!
