I'm headed back to old habits - HELP ME!

It's so wonderful to see that I'm not alone!!! This must be a 4-5 month phase we are all going through. I was telling my mom about my grazing incident with rice crispy bars and she was scolding me, and I was also scolding myself. But, I reminded her and myself that we are human, and can't be perfect 24x7. I think we're all on this slow learning curve over the next year to figure out what our pouchies can handle, and how we can handle "real life" and still enjoy food. I think the trick is to make more good choices than bad choices, and don't feel guilty for having a few indulgences. ~kelle

Looks like you are human, just like the rest of us! Last week there seemed to be no bottom to my pouch. I bought one of those toffee covered popcorn with almonds containers from Target & almost ate the whole thing by myself. Totally PMS'ing. This week, not so much. The hunger is just not there. That is why I am CONVINCED it is hormonal. You notice I didn't post on the what did you eat posts last week...there wasn't enough bandwidth to contain my posts! Ha ha! Just learn from it so it doesn't become a habit. I am not allowing myself to buy Turtle chocolate Chex mix or toffee popcorn anymore. It just can't come in my house anymore. They are trigger foods that I allow myself to lose control over. I wil eat some at someone else's house though. Anyhow, that's my new rule. Hugs, Dar (ps- Did you buy your tickets to Lexi. yet?)

This indeed must be the "4 month itch." My friend Wendy and I both had our surgery on May 18 and this month we just grazed and snacked liked crazy. We still lost weight because we're in that honeymoon phase, but why one earth was I eating frozen yogurt with rootbeer (floats!), mini candy bars, and potato chips this month?! One day I actually went over 900 calories -- highest since surgery. We both wondered if we just needed to "***** around town" for a week or so, a mini-break from surgery, before we knuckled under again.
