Hi there everyone! So, I've lost 97.75 pounds now and I'm determed to reach my 100 pound loss in the next week or two! Anyway, is anyone celebrating their 100 pound loss in a special way? Are you buying yourself something special to honor it? I was thinking I'd like to do something special for myself because I'll be VERY proud once I reach that mark. I just don't know what to do. Any ideas? I think we ALL deserve to treat ourselves to something special along the way! We've worked so hard! Deanna

My hair is a major issue for me. I have long (ALWAYS to the shoulders or long) naturally curly blonde hair. Even at my heaviest it was my one physical thing I liked. Problem is its always been the same. I mean yeah, we've layered it, highlighted it...but thats it... My uncle is a hair stylist and when I reach 100 pounds gone we are going WILD. With 82 pounds gone I've got to start deciding.... So for me its a new crazy wild funky hairstyle...... Mandy

Cool new picture, Mandy!!! I think you should go red with your hair! That's a great idea to spice it up when you reach your 100 pound mark! Unfortunately my hair is very short so it doesn't give me much to work with! You have great hair though so I'm sure it'll look gorgeous no matter what you do with it! But I think reddish would be really pretty on you! Deanna

Thanks I just wi**** didn't looked so stretched or whatever...lol I definately want some shade of red in it b/c of my moderately fair skin and blue-ish-green eyes. I'm wanting to go a little darker than my naturally dark blonde and then had auburn and golden hi-lights... Let us know what you decide to do for you big day! :D Congrats again! Mandy

Deanna, I've been thinking along these lines as well. Today I weighed myself and I've lost 95 lbs exactly and I'm hoping (unrealistically, Im sure) that on my 5 month anniversary I will celebrate a 100# gone forever! Even if I cant reach that goal ( it would be Oct 1st), I want to mark the occasion as huge accomplishment. I dont know what to do though. Buy clothes? It's tempting, however I dont want to stay at this weight and wont for long I hope. Go out to dinner? Well, again, sounds nice, but not like it used to preop, ya know? Not to mention the cost of babysitters etc... and so maybe I should think about my hair or mani/pedi or some other crazy thing I dont usually treat myself to. I wonder if anyone else has some ideas?? Congrats, Deanna, I cant wait to read about your success! Kathryn

Kathryn, I wish you lived by me cuz we could go get pedicures together! That would be fun! I know EXACTLY what you mean ... eating out just isn't "fun" like it used to be. And I don't really want to buy something that will not be used down the road, like clothing. I don't know ... maybe a cute pair of earrings? I just feel like I want to do something! I'm liking the pedicure idea though ... that would be so relaxing! I'd like to be pampered for a change! Deanna

Right before vacation on 9/1 I went and had a French Manicure & French pedicure & had my eyebrows waxed. I never spend money on myself like that, but it was so much fun & I felt so pampered. My hubby loved it too! Spoil Yourself! Darlene

We had a cheese and wine tasting party with my classmates and my husband bought me an ipod to take on my workouts.
