This board has SPOILED me!

When I first joined OH usually went to the Main board. WOW has our tight little group spoiled me. There is so much off topic, trash talking, stuff on the main board I can barely stand to try to sift through it. I know we discuss things other than WLS here BUT it just seems so much more relevant. Bottom line is...I find it very hard to go to the main board anymore now that I feel like I have family here :D Mandy

Yeh, I know what you mean. I used to look at a few other boards, but find this one the most interesting, especially as we all know each other quite well now, having been together for several months. I feel like you are all my friends and feel very close to you all. I also love that our board is so active. There are always so many 'hots' as we all contribute so much. Sometimes if I miss a day, it's hard to catch up with all the new posts. Great stuff. Ruth

HOW TRUE! My words exactly!! At first I only went to the main board and now - I never go there - just here. I have not been on the computer for 2 days and I could hardly wait to get on this morning. Mandy, I totally agree. This is the only board I read now. My surgeon has a message board, but frankly I find it kinda boring!! I feel like a have a whole new set of wonderful friends that do not hesitate to jump in there with support and encouragement. I love it!!

I may not always post ,but I try to stop by and peek as much as possible. The main board just isn't where I need to be either.
