Well, I left immediately after work to make the hour and a half drive to the hospital. They admitted me and I met the surgeon, but found out the surgery would happen Sat. morning around 10:30. Surgery went fine. Dr. said my gall bladder was very "shriveled". I came on home Sunday around 10:00. I had already started developing some sort of cold Wed and Thurs and this has been the worst part. Coughing is HELL on my incisions. PLUS my throat is terribly sore from the tube being down it during surgery. I can't go back to wor****il after I see the DR for my 1 week follow up which means 1 week from tomorrow, b/c my appt is Monday. THanks for all the prayers and well wishes. Oh MEGAN..I'm down pounds since Friday lol....mostly b/c I've had NO appetite and feel like I'm just home from my RNY surgery. They sent me home on a Full Diet but I've been eating very little. I had about 2/3 of a sugar free jello, a sf popsicle, and about last night I squeezed in about 1 oz of cheddar cheese.
