Do you graze?
I'm finding that I'm starting to pick up bad habits again. Sometimes I don't even realize what I've done until it's too late. For example, I'll be fixing dinner or a snack for the kids and naturally throw something in my mouth. I know this is a HORRIBLE habit and I need to break it again. Anyone else fnding themselves grazing again?
Yes, Yes Yes!!! I notice I have been doing way too much of it - Not a good way to start out month # 4 . I discovered the best soy chips at Sams Club, they are high in protein, low fat, low carb but.... I can't stop eating them now . I would rather eat these little snacks all day than any meals. I may start doing an extra exercise tape in the early evening to compensate for the days I graze too much.--Suzette---
Count me in! I'm having a hard time also. I'm exactly the same as Darlene W ... I get the munchies really, really bad right before I start my period and then it's followed with a lack of desire for eating for about a week. I can tell when my cycle is starting because I have that desire to snack like crazy!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! You all are making me feel better!! Not Good but better - At least I know I am not alone!!! What can we do??? I hate it!! It is a horrible habit!! I wish I hated food!! Yesterday I nibbled at a no-bake cookie for a couple hours until it was gone!!! Then after work, I was taking a box of cookies to my grandkids. They were sugar cookies we made and decorated like basketballs. Well, I do not really like sugar cookies but guess what - I ate one!!!! Then last night I grabbed a piece of bologna and a slice of cheese and ate it!! Not real bad BUT not the best choice!! I journalled everything and was still under 1000 calories BUT I only had 48 gr of protein!! The first day I have ever been that low.
I just feel like I am slowly going back to my old habits and DO NOT WANT TOO!! I AM FIGHTING IT!!!
I like that - I am not a cow so quit grazing. Maybe I will make myself a sign on the computer with a pic of a cow and put that on it. It may remind me!!! Notice I said "may"!!
I had a bad habit of everytime I got up during the night to pee I would go to the refrig and eat something. I had started that habit back BUT this week I have fought it and am doing good!! i GO GET A DRINK OF WATER AND THAT IS IT!!
Yep, I find I'm getting the snackies more these days - but probably because I'm not eating enough during meals/snacks. My weakness seems to be trail mix (nuts and raisens) and low fat graham crackers w/peanut butter. I'm munching on trail mix througout the day, and i'm sure this is probably not a good idea. I should be drinking down a protein shake instead, but I find myself doing this as opposed to what I really am wanting to do these days - fix a big icy cold Diet Coke!!!!! aargh....I'm missing my Diet Cokes somethin' awful!!
