six lbs down this week. finally got off that plateau. went thru my closet yesterday and cleared out all the 3x and bigger shirts. now wearing 2x but those are plenty big. tried on an xl and it FIT! That blows my mind. down from a 54 waist pant to a very loose 44. pretty soon I will have NO clothes that fit in my closet. yikes. what a great problem to have! 3 more lbs and I will have lost 100 lbs since last October. The really great news is that my endocronologist took me off three of my insulin shots, and I only take a small dose of the long acting Lantus in the AM and some oral meds with dinner. and he cut my cholesterol med from 10 mg to 2.5. both the Lantus and Crestor may be stopped in a month or two. That was one of my biggest goals with having the surgery! Pretty soon I just MIGHT be able to keep up with my 3 year old!!!

Much props, Joe! I too am at XL sizes. I'm wearing my older brother's old clothes he left behind before moving out, but I also had to buy some new clothes for me because all my old clothes is 4XL, which is just too huge for me now. But I am still wearing my old high school clothes, but they're all pretty much sports jerseys, which I used to love wearing back in those days. Keep it up bro!

HUGE CONGRATS to you Joe. What an awesome accomplishment!! it's so nice to hear how others are doing, it inspires ME!! I have a 3 year old son... I'm on onederland and STILL can't catch up with him. I think you need to be 30-40lbs to catch up with these crazy kids. LOL

Great to hear how well you are doing - you must be so proud of yourself. And as you say, getting healthier is just as if not more exciting as clothes being too big. It means you will still be there for yoru 3 year old (even if you can't keep up with him/her )
