Hi Melissa, I am now in a size 10/12 in pants and shorts and I now wear size large in shirts, blouses etc. Total loss for me as of today 65lbs. I never really realized how much weight I had lost until yesterday when I put on a pair of my fat shorts and they fell to the floor. I was totally stunned....I think we all deserve a hand for our hard work!!

Isn't it great to be able to buy smaller sizes. I bought size US14 jeans on Saturday to grow into. I can get them up my legs - mimi wow moment for me to see I've got size 14 legs. Trouble is I can't get them over my belly - yet! One of my goals that I'm waiting for is to fit into them.

Hi Ruth Yes it is great to be able to buy clothes in smaller sizes!!I went shopping this weekend for panties & bras (everything I had was falling off me).I felt so lost in JCPenney-not really sure where I belonged!!I have read posts where people felt this way and it was a wow moment to stop & say "now I know how that feels". I think it is a great idea to buy something new or pull something old out of the closet & set it as a goal to get into. You will be in those 14's before you know it!!!Of course my belly & but are my problem areas so I know what ya mean. Have a Great Day!~Missy~

Congrats Missy! I've been lurking for the past couple of months, mostly because I'm just too lazy to post... LOL. Anyways, as of today the scale says I'm down 68.5 pounds . I'm able to fit comfortably into size 18 pants, and I'm ready to burn ALL of my 24s!!! As far as shirts go, I'm in size 14/16, but I must admit that it's taken me a little getting used to wearing tops that are more form fitting, as compared to the baggy shirts I used to wear to hide the bakery before.... LOL. I'll be heading down to Florida the first week in November for vacation, so my new mission is to find a bathing suit... wish me luck! ~Michele~ PS: Congratulations to all my fellow May surgery losers... you're all doing great and looking terrific! Much love.......

The spouses group at my seminary sells t-shirts, polos etc. every year with the university and school of theology logos on them. Last year I bought a long sleeve t-shirt in 3xl. This year, I bought a L polo shirt. I went around all last Thursday when I wore it saying....this is a large you know. hehe It is a bit difficult getting used to wearing form fitting things. Especially since I am thinner every where but my stomach. I don't know what's up with that. However, spanx higher power panties are a Godsend. They smooth the whole general abdominal region. Rachael
