Thanks Mandy - it's really interesting that my nutrionalist said I should be around 1200 calories a day. That seems impossible to me.

I know it takes all I have to get in over 600 or 700! By the way I can start adding carbs back in at 75% excess weight gone. Not because I'm supposed to be afraid of them but because not eating simple carbs will help weightloss. Eat those carbs can cause you to want more carbs and thats just not good especially since it takes all I have to get in my protein without filling my pouch with carbs. mandy

Fitday averages me out at 850 calories a day and 50-80 grams of protein. I absolutely do not count carbs. The nutritionist says that is something I don't need to do as some carbs are good for us and it isn't a healthy diet after a year out to be afraid of carbs. She wants me to strive for a balanced normal diet in miniature amounts.

I eat a normal diet also.....I have software on the computer to monitor what I eat and keep track of it all. I do between 750 and 950 calories a day. The only thing that I really watch when I am shopping is the sugar content of stuff. Other than that...I get the regular stuff. Remember this is not a diet...its a life change. We eat so little now that my nutritionist says to make healthy choices but you can have regular foods because we dont eat that much. Kel
