I will go ahead and post since I know what I will be having for dinner. I am going to a party this evening and we had to preorder our entree. B-Lean Cuisine-Lemon Pepper Baked fish/Broc-n-Cheese. Had 3 bites of broc, and about 3/4 of fish without the batter. S-protein shake-11 oz 15 g protein L-Lean cuisine-just chicken portioin D-cup french onion soup/steak salad. I was so bad this weekend. I had a PBJ on an English Muffin this weekend. I have not had a sandwich or bread or anything remotely like this since surgery-and the worst part-I ate the ENTIRE English muffin. WTF!! I am out of control I swear. Somebody stop me.

I had a pure protein bar for breakfast....like always Then I tried a lunchable with whole wheat ritz crackers for lunch....couldn't eat all of it, but it was cool to have bit size meat and cheese in a container that was easy to grab on the go. I don't know about dinner. Here's the prob. I have been buying lots of meat. DH likes meat and two veggies for dinner. And in an effort to stretch food, he get the same plate of food the next night. That essentially leaves ME hanging. I just don't have too much stock in eating dinner. I am not hungry at that time, just horribly thirsty. I come home and drink all the crystal light I can stand and then I am really not hungry. I know I have to find something that works for me. I read your food posts every day to see if anything strikes me. sigh.....some days food is NOT worth the trouble and I would rather just as well have three bars or shakes in a day. Rachael

Hi Rachael! I can totally relate to your lack of desire for food! Some days I'm like this too! I try to keep string cheese on hand but I'm getting pretty bored with that! I've also been making tuna salad lately and put it on either crackers or half of a whole wheat english muffin. My standby is peanut butter on whole wheat Ritz crackers. They also make a South Beach Diet frozen pizza that is fairly good and I can't even eat half of it. So if I make it, I usually divide it into thirds and have three meals from it. And it reheats well. Oh, and it has a fair amount of protein in it too. Most of the time I don't feel like putting any effort into making something that I can only eat a tiny bit of anyway! I noticed that you're eating the Pure Protein bars too ... which one is your favorite? I'm getting so sick of them but it's nice that they have 20 grams of protein in them! Have you tried the Blueberry one yet? I haven't but I hate to buy a whole box of them if I'm not going to like them! I normally buy them at Walmart and they don't sell that flavor individually. Good luck with your eating! Deanna
