I had my surgery on May 12, 2006, I've currently lost 75 pounds and feeling great! I've been back in college for about a month and it's a lot different fixing meals in the dorm room then at home. It's really difficult when all your friends are going out for pizza or to wendy's and for you to say no. I'm not going to lie i've gone once since I've been back, but I dont want to get back into old habbits. I'm very excited I joined Bally's Total Fitness on Friday and today was my first work out with my personal trainer! It was amazing she really kicked my ass, but it's something I can deff. do and look foward to doing. I'm hopeing to be down 100 pounds by Christmas, I dont think that will be a problem but I'm excited to surprise my family when I return home!

Katie, That's great news you joined Bally's! Exercise is sooo important to all of us. I'm sure you'll reach your 100 pound goal by Christmas. And the next time your friends go out to Wendy's, don't forget a great source of protein is Wendy's chili - I had some for dinner tonight.

Hi Katie, Congrats on the weight loss and joining the g ym. Excerise is so important to keep up the lifestyle we're now leading. You'll notice the weight start flying off now. In re: to not being able to go with friends to eat - there is always something that you can eat no matter where you go - it's just about making the right choices. Congrats again!!
