Issues post-op

Yes, NASH is what I was diagnosed with after the liver biopsy that occured during my gastric bypass. Because I had moved passed fatty liver to NASH, the surgeon is more concerned about my liver enzymes than he would be if I had only a fatty liver. He wants to make sure I haven't moved into fibrosis...the stage between steatohepatitis and cirrosis. He is confident that the speedy weight loss is the problem, but because these tests were never run before surgery, we are in a bit of a pickle as far as the stage of my NASH.
