I just wanna shout to the roof tops
I just want to dance nakid in the street.
I broke 190 and I can not sit still any longer. 15 weeks post op and I can not believe that I am here today. I can not believe that I survived. that I lived and that I am going to do more than just exist from now on. -3.93 lbs per week average (.07 lbs less than doctor demanded). the stalls are just that, stalls, they do not predict the overall outcome.
I rode my bike with my family for 5 miles yesterday and while I was huffing and puffing, I was able to do it in 40 minutes. my 6 year old is so patient with me, he can go faster, my husband has to ride 30 miles before I start to take the 'fire' out of him so that he can 'stand' how slow I go (10.8 miles per hour highest speed) but they are patient with me and keep me company.
I am so grateful for all the support here, even with differing view points, you guys are SUPPORTIVE and my best cheerleaders. hugs.

CONGRATULATIONS! I know how excited you must feel. Yesterday when I broke the 200 barrier - I could not hardly sit still!! I never thought of dancing naked in the streets, tho! Good idea!!!
You are doing great - keep up the good work. But -3.93 lbs a week?????? Isn't that expecting alot while still eating healthy??? You do not want to lose all this weight and end up sick.

no one said eating healthy, but I am healthy, I have three sheet report of my blood work and so far all is well! very healthly blood work tells the tale. we (in general) eat way too much crap way too often. my pcp was deliriously happy with my progress, with my labs and totally convincved that it was obvious that my 'diet' was working for me.
lean meats and leafy green vegetables 3 times a day, 1 oz servings.
Katherine,
Congratulations!!!! You broke 190 - wow! I can only imagine how excited you are. You are doing a fabulous job, and I second your gratitude for all the support we receive on this message board. I'll at least speak for myself and say I wouldn't be as successful as I have been without having had this site to come to for continued encouragement, support and advice. It's priceless to see there are so many others who had surgery the same month as I did, and see how we have similar ups and downs and experiences. You don't feel so alone, and you know that eventually we'll all be sucessful. Keep up the great work and keep us posted.
