94 lbs today!
I had surgery on May 24th- I have lost 94 lbs since then. Fabulous. I still see my chubby self in the mirror but in photos I can really see the difference. I am able to eat a "Smart Ones" meal. It takes a good amount of time, but I can do it. I have been exercising but would like to more. I am looking into a personal trainer, but it depends on funds. I am down from a 34-36 to a 22-24 in most things. I would do it again in a heartbeat even though I struggle with food sometimes. Protein is a challenge but I continue to work on it. The powders just do not work. I can eat a few of the bars but it takes me all day. How are you all doing?
Wow, 94 pounds! That's amazing! I know what you mean about your mind needing to catch up with your body. I still see myself as chubby in my "minds eye". Have you tried the Nectar Fuzzy Navel protein powder? I mix it in with a little extra water & sometimes even chill it to a slush in the freezer.

congratulations. you are such a loser! my husband used a personal trainer 1 day a week and then went in on his own one day a week for two years, it was really positive and now he knows his routine and does it at home on his own. it is a valuable investment just like any other part of this process.
I find that if I eat lean meats at each meal, I am getting all the proteins that my body needs (confirmed with a blood test) so I recommend that you get the blood test and aleviate the stress of worrying. I know it helped me tremendously to find out that my body is taking care of itself without trying to put in things that were not 'naturally available'
I am really proud of you for going down 10 sizes, that is a phenomenal change and you should be extremely proud of yourself. you have definately worked hard!

AWESOME JOB! Wendy, you are doing great! I am not having too much trouble getting the protein in. What do you eat? Have you ever ordered any food from SmartFoods? They have alot and it is good!! The peach mango drink is awesome. You just mix it in water and it is 15 grams and NO protein taste either!! And the Hot chocolate is good! Another 15 grams and then I add a packet of Carnation Instant Breakfast for another 4 grams. I also eat alot of cheese and deli meats. The other day I had a lean cuisine , beef tips and it was yummy! I also eat Pinto Beans with cheese added to them. And chili - love chili!!
94 lbs - you have to be doing something right!!!!
