I FIT!!!
So, I was able to ride all of the rides at the amusement park WITH room! (I actually shed a few tears when the first one buckled lol) We walked all over the park. It was a 3 hour drive and I just got home...sooooo I'm going to bed!!! Thanks for all the well wishes from my earlier post! Its so great to know I have sooo much support from people who truly understand!

Mandy,
I am SO happy for you. I even go tears when I think of how happy you were! This is SO great! You said you walked all around the amusement park. I bet this felt good too, to be able to walk that much. If you were like me, walking was really a chore before! And now I am able to do it SO much easier.
The other night I went to my first basketball game since I had surgery. The bleachers were really a chore last year. But this year !! WOW! SO much easier. I had both knees replaced and so I still have a little trouble coming down but NOTHING like last year!
ANd I know what you mean about the support here. IT DOES FEEL GOOD! Because we all know what each other is going thru! The good times and the bad!!
And this is a GOOD TIME FOR YOU! And we are excited for you!!!!
Love, Hugs and Prayers,
Darlene
Mandy, that's great!!! I knew how you felt, and just knew it would all work out just fine. I have a 10 year old son and I remember when we went to Universal Studios in Orlando 2 years ago. I was so apprehensive about fitting into the rides, and there were some that I couldn't fit in and Christian had to ride by himself. I could tell he was disappointed because he wanted me to come with him. Well, this Spring I'm planning to take him again, and after reading your post I feel great that this time will be a much more enjoyable experience, because I love riding rides just about as much as he does !!
Congratutations!!! We all know the feeling of not fitting and I can appreciate the shedding of a few tears. I have long ago given up amusement parks, partly for that reason and walking around for hours as the other.
My main concern now is airline seats, in the past it was a very traumatic nerve-wracking experience. I travel a great deal with my job, so I was a nervous wreak!!! Constantly worrying about your seat assignment, turning down layover flights because you were in a middle seat, etc.
I'm soooo happy for you, we all know here what a liberating experience it was!!!
Mandy I have goose bumps for you. What an awesome feeling to have had yesterday. Looking back and remembering where you were last year and getting there this year and even having room to spare. I bet you must have wanted to ride everything over and over and over again!! Congrats to you sweetheart. You've worked so hard to get where you are and it's TOTALLY paying off for you!! Just think about when you go NEXT year - what it will be like! Sounds like you had an awesome time and are exhausted. Sleep well and Mandy - YOU GO GIRL!
