Post-op Bloodwork. When was yours last taken?

Hi Megan, My surgeon requests blood work every 3 months for the first year, then annually after that. I worked with my primary to do some preliminary testing for what the surgeon was looking for, then about a month later went in for the real test for the surgeon. Patti

Call me a pin cushion .....it has been labs every 2 to 3 weeks here! My iron number is 11 and my protein 9(should be 15 or higher)! I'm grateful my surgeon and cardiologist are so vigilant about this though. If the iron isn't up in 4 weeks my next stop is the Hematologist.....I have more doctors than purses! Typically with my doctor most folks get labs every 4 months or so.....
