What have you eaten today? 9/5
B--half of a string cheese and 4 whole wheat Ritz with 1 tablespoon peanut butter
L--4 piece chicken tenders from Burger King (I know, not the best choice!)
S--haven't eaten anything yet ... I really need to eat a protein bar
D--I was going to make my family some of those Johnsonville Brats ... anyone try these yet? I'm a bit scared to try it so I may just have some chicken instead. We'll see how brave I get!
Is anyone having problems pooping? Hee, hee! Anyway, I found the BEST thing that keeps me regular. I have been having a mug of "no sugar added" Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa every morning and it makes me go within a half hour of drinking it. No diarrhea or any problems that way. Just keeps me regular. I know, I'm gross! But I thought I'd post the idea just in case anyone is having bathroom issues!
Deanna
Hey Deanna,
I've been drinking SMOOTH MOVE TEA or Peppermint tea to make me "move". I'm def. not regular like I was preWLS. I'm avg only every 3-4 days now where as before I was an everyday girl!! LOL
I have had brats since surgery - however - I made something much healthier last night that tasted the same but 1/3 calories/fat and more protien. Hot TURKEY Sausage. YUMMY! The whole family loved them and couldn't tell a difference. For one link (which I couldn't even finish) it was 90 calories, 2g fat, 0 carb and 16g protien!
Cup of coffee with protein cappaccino
B - 3 tiny bites of pork chops from last night
L - watermelon ( I know, bad choice, but I felt like crap after my pork chop experience)
S - Achiev mocha drink (trying to make up for my watermelon lunch!)
S #2 - 1/2 of protein bar
D - Yes, I'm actually thinking about dinner. I'm still very limited on what I can get down, but I'm still HUNGRY!! I WANT MEAT!!!!
I'm thinking about cottage cheese, maybe with a tomato slice
I too have had trouble with constipation. This is a rather new occurrence in my many new experiences. This problem started occurring in just the last month, before it was the opposite!! I've been taking some fiber drink you stir up in water and it seems to help somewhat, but I'm also going to try the tea and the cocoa, sounds much better!!
It has been so long since I last posted. I just started back to school a couple of weeks ago and I am reading nearly 100 pages a night.
B- Coffee with milk
L- 2 c salad with 0.5 c tofu and one bite cheese cake brownie ( I was at the Mature Students Luncheon and its my favorite)
S- 0.5 cup grapes, 3 triscuits, 0.5 oz cheddar cheese
D - 0.33 homemade burrito
S- 0.25 cup grapes
That is everything and now I need to sleep.
