I'm having a poor pitiful me morning. I've been in tears on/off for the past two hours since I've gotten up. I hate the flippin scale! I've been between 205-207 for the past 2.5 almost 3 weeks. It won't move. Yesterday morning when I got on I was 205. Yesterday I intensified my work-ou****ched what I ate and had a much better day then the two days prior. All of this hoping that the scale would move when I got on this morning. It moved!! UP TWO LBS! I'm so frustrated and ANNOYED!! UGH! I know it's not good to weigh yourself so much and this being the reason why - but I can't help it. My period is due to come on any day now so I'm PRAYING that this is the reason. I can't come up with anything else. So blue! Meg

Hi Megan, Everything is gonna be fine. The scale will eventually move again and your gonna continue to loose, But right now your body is playing catch up. I try to tell myself everyday that there is gonna be times when the won't budge( look at it as your body's resting phase). As soon as this plataue is over you'll continue to come down and then platue again, I guess that's how it work's. That's the exact reason why I did'nt buy a scale, because I new I would be come a scale freak . And another thing maybe your excersing to much. It could be stunting your loss. Just an . But it will pick back up. Talk to you later Tierra

gosh why can't you live closer, you definitely need some serious hugs! Let's think about this logically, you're period definitely throws off the weight loss equation. When did you last uhhhh *poop* because if you have to go then you'll see a weight gain. For some unknown reason this is a gassy weekend for me, I'm Oh So Fun to be around, my children are singing me the "when i was a young warthog" song from Lion King. so much for weight loss with dignity. We were food shopping and i had to pass a little gas and it was so noxious that my bratty son goes all loud and proud "you've gotta be kidding me right ma" i was mortified!!!!! We get home and i put dinner on the table and my daughter goes to me "you're the best cook even if you can't stop farting" well how do you say thank you to that comment? I hope i've made you laugh a little bit. Hugs, ANDI

Megan, don't be upset. It is definitely because you're period is starting any day now. I really do stay away from the scales when I know my period is coming, because what always happens is I gain 2-3 pounds a couple days before my period starts, but by the time it's over I've usually lost those pounds and more. So try to stay positive - you've been doing fine with your eating and exercise. I'd be willing to bet money that if you keep it up, by the time your period is done, you will have busted this stall and you'll be posting that you're either in ONDERLAND or within a pound or so of being there. We're all here for you, and each other, and we'll be fine!!!! The scales will start moving down very soon. Remember the posting from Tom that you shared with us - our being on this stall actually means we're doing the right thing, and our body is just adjusting for the next dropping of pounds.

I wished I lived closer................cause I'd come over and toss that scale in the garbage!!!!!! Megan we had this discussion before............I am soooooooo sure you are still losing inches....................I am constantly talking to co workers, friends that are 1 year or more and thats what happens you dont see the inches you're losing on the scale!!!!! You may be holding water from your menses and you frequent the gym and your workout is really INTENSE, so you will continue to build muscle which weighs more than fat!!!!!!!!!!!! Now you can cancel the pity !!!!!! Whew!!! Talk about tough love!! Simone

I'm willing to ber you are gaining muscle with all the workouts you are doing. That's a good thing though. You're probably holding more water due to mensus too.

Oh Megan I am so with you on this. As others have said, I wish we all weren't so far away from each other. I've been on a stall for 3 weeks too. I got on the scales Friday thinking I would have lost a bunch, but nothing, then did loads over the weekend - exercise and eating right, thinking today it would have all caught up. But no. Those damned scales stayed right where they have been for the last 3 weeks. We have to keep going, even though we aren't seeing any results right now and believe they will move eventually. I think I'm going to lurk on some other boards a couple of months before ours to see how they got through this... You are NOT on your own (((((hugs)))))
