Do you have days that you can't stop eating?

I have come to realize that I'm a grazer and nothing i do seems to stop that! I don't eat meals they just don't appeal to me BUT a handful of nuts or soy nuts or beef jerky (which i'm convinced is just dog treats!) and I'm happy as a pig in poop. I suck down an achieve one which gives me 20 grams of protein and the rest i get from food or grazing. The ONE thing i do right is that every day i have a large dunkin' donuts iced coffee with milk and splenda and i'm convinced that since the body has to warm it up to 98.6 to process it that it keeps me full a hell of a lot longer then my water products do. Let's all keep plodding on and knowing we are doing phenomenal no matter what we do. Hugs to you, ANDI

Hello, I still don't feel hunger yet after almost four months.....are you taking in enough water? My nut says that thirst can seem like hunger pains to our bodies. I get my food expanded Tuesday. Hurray! Grazing is a sure way to undo what you have done....that is what the surgeon told me. I saw a coworker regain some weight by grazing carbs. Hang in there! I think more water will help....just my opinion. Kathy

Kathy I bet - no - I'm SURE you're exactly right. That a lot of times I'm confusing thirst with hunger. I do drink 100-150oz of water a day. HOWEVER - I'm not sure that I even know the difference between "HEAD HUNGER" and regular hunger.

Hey there Megan - I am totally with you. The last few days I have been fighting head hunger and cravings, which I have attributed to work stress, fatigue, and the unending fog here. I stood in line at Starbucks and stared at the pastries for several minutes, but fortunately did not end up buying one. But I've been pretty miserable with these cravings. Take care, Heather

I feel your pain, Megan. I sometimes have those days. Friday was one for me. I couldn't seem to stop taking little snacks throughout the day. I was pretty good today about sticking to my 3 meals. I didn't get in the 2-3 snacks - I just got in one snack. But I felt better about my eating today than I did Friday. Don't worry - we all have those days. I think it seems like we're grazing and snacking all day, but we can't eat but a little at a time, so we probably don't do much damage.
