Okay Wow Moment here...weighed this morning and was 158.5!!!! YEAH!!!!!!! Then went to get dressed and decided to try on my 10's from American Eagle.....WOOHOO!!!! they fit....they fit..(happy dance again, 50th time today!) Feeling great and looking better...I'm sooooooooo blown away though...still can't belive my body is as small as it is...and getting SMALLER!!!!! I love this, I love working out....using the tools the surgery gave me has made my life come full circle...it's unbelivable how much the weight was holding me back. But I'm here and i'm never go'n back to where i was!!!! It's crazy I get tickled all the time, over the smallest things....like sitting on the toilet w/ foot up on toilet too painting toenails....WOW! This is such an awesome thing!!!
Hi Ruth!
How old is your daughter, Millie? My daughter, Abby, is starting 1st grade next week ... I'm also anxiously awaiting some "wows" from the other Moms!
A "wow" for me this week was that all the sudden I'm freezing cold! It's not like the weather just got drastically colder or anything and normally I'm sweating like a pig during the summer. I had to put an extra blanket on the bed at night and now my husband is the one complaining how hot he is for a change!
I went to the store and purchased a hooded zip-up sweatshirt and I tried on the 2X first. Too big. So I tried on the 1X and decided it fit okay. I brought it home and tried it on and showed my husband and he said "Did they have any smaller ones? That one is on the verge of being too big!" So I went and tried on a MISSES size XL and it fit! My first article of clothing that isn't plus size! I started out in a size 30/32 or a 4X so this is downright COOOOOL!

As of last Thursday I had lost 54.5 lbs. I've been out of work for the last 6 wks due to a ruptured disk and cervical disk surgery. I saw my surgeon yesterday and was given the okay to go back to work. I went by my job to give my supervisor my return to work slip and every one I spoke to at work was telling me I look great! I've lost 20 lbs. in the 6 wks. I've been away from work so it is really noticeable to people who haven't seen me for a while.
Hi Deanna
Millie is 6 years old - so over here she'll be going into Prep 2 (2nd Grade).
I've been cold too - I always used to be hot. I'm even having to wear thick woolen bed socks at night and that's not because of the British summers,
Mindyou, I'd rather be cold and put on extra layers than to have permanent layers under my skin!!!!!
1. Down 67.5 pounds :D (more than double the most weight I've ever lost ---32 pounds on weigh****chers 6 years ago).
2. I'm wearing 18/20 and 1x tops instead of 3x and 26/28 (still in a 22 though if its a button up)
3. I'm wearing 22 bottoms in stead of 26/28
4. One of my students from last year saw me today and said Wow, Miss Page you've lost alot of weight! (adults I teach with notice all the time, but it means alot for a former student to notice)
And the winner is............
5. This one is toooo cute! TONIGHT! My 3 y/o niece likes to poke her head up shirts (to play peek-a-boo I guess lmao) anyway she fit completely inside my shirt with me. We took a picture of me and her and BOTH of our heads sticking out of the shirt.
Hi, I don't post very often, but I had a big wow moment at church last Sunday. One of the older gentlemen in our congregation is moving to Wyoming to live with his son and some of the ladies made him a photo album with pictures of his friends from our congregation in it. They passed it to me and asked me to write him a little something next to my picture. And this is the honest to goodness truth, at first, I didn't recognize myself in the picture!! I looked again and realized it was me! That was a big wow moment for me. Yes, my old clothes have outgrown me, but I guess I didn't realize what a big difference my weight loss has made to my appearance. Maybe cause it seems I have such a long way to go and I seem to be a slow loser! But there is no denying the difference in that picture!!
Thanks for letting me share.
Sincerely,
Deborah Brady

Latest wows...
Had to buy new bras, down two sizes.
New shirts too. (My boyfriend would like me to burn my old ones - they SWALLOW me, lol.)
Need new shoes, stepping out of the ones I have.
Started back to school last week after an almost two year hiatus, have gotten several comments from people there on how much I have lost since they last saw me.
Went to the optometrist's for new glasses this week. Haven't been in there for a couple of years and they went nuts over how much I had lost.
Still doing my happy dance...
