Did I stretch it somehow?!?!?

Hi everyone. Recently I've noticed that I can eat a great deal at one sitting. For example, a salad, I can eat a nice sized one and fruit cups, I can eat an 8oz one of mixed fruit in one sitting. But something like steak, I am still at like half of a petite sirloin or filet. Do you think it just depends on the food item, like a salad breaks down into mostly water, and the fruit is chewed up smaller thereby allowing more into my stomach? Help!! So worried I have caused my stomach to expand/stretch already. I've lost 60 lbs so far, and really wanted to get at least 70-75 by my six month anniversary. And unfortunately I have added a bit of carbs into my diet in the form of those evil mini cheese ritz. I bought a variety snack pack for my sons lunches, and over the last few days, I have had 2 packs. I eat the one side with the cheese, and then I give the other bare cracker bite to the dog. But I soo have to get back on track with that. Past couple of days, protein has been very poor/water almost non-existent. It's all a mental game at this point, so happy thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well Howdy neighbor! I'm in the Severna Park area - but I used to work out at SportFit in Bowie! Who was your surgeon? Where did you have your surgery? Regarding your food and stretching. You've likely not stretched anything out. One of reasons we're told to focous on protien as our main food source is because it fills us up quicker with less quantity and leaves us fuller longer. When eating other items (salad, fruit, etc...) it will take more to fill us. That's the same scenario for everyone - not just you. Rest assured. Also, as time goes on we will be able to eat more. I'm noticing that I can eat more at each setting as well. Have you tried the cottage chesse test to see how much can hold?

HI! I had my surgery done in Baltimore, Union Memorial with Dr. Liao. What you mentioned regarding the protein vs. salads makes sense. I should know this, but I was panicking anyway. I haven't tried the cottage cheese test, just heard of that today, but I am not much of a fan of cottage cheese to begin with. I wonder if there is something else I could use to do the test. Thank you for the reply.
