My name is Darlene & I live in Grove City, OH (Columbus). I am married & have 3 wonderful children 4,8, & 12. I had my surgery on 5/1 & have lost 65 pounds. I love to ride roller coasters & spend most of my time at the football fields or baseball/softball diamonds, and basketball courts watching my husband & boys play ball. Yes, I am a sports widow! Hi my name is Danice. I had my RNY on May 24th. The day I had my surgery I weighed 258, and as of this morning I am down to 197. I am very glad to be on the 100 side of things again. I had a problem at first getting all of my protein and water it, but now I am getting into a routine with it. I am getting all the water and most of the protein.

My name is Jenn and I had Lap RNY May 30th of 2006. So far I've lost a total of 64lbs and am hoping to be down at least 100lbs by my 21st bday in Dec. I am really have a difficult time getting my protein in. I am, however, doing well with my vits and fluids. I am so exicted to be on this journey. If any of you guys can give me some suggestions with protein that'd be great. Nectar is just not my style. Also, if anyone can recommend some calcium pills that aren't like HUGE, I'd love that. Feel free to email me those suggestions. Thanks!! I hope you all are losing and moving to lose! Take care all!!

As I think everyone here knows..... I'm Megan. LOL I'm a 27yo married mother of 2. Notice I didn't say happily married. haha I have a 5 year old stepdaughter and a 3 yearo old son. The kids are the light of my life. I'm a full-time working mother. I work outside of the home as a corporate event planner. Unfortunately, this means that I travel a lot. I'm gone somewhere across the country at least every other week. I'll be in Atlanta next week. Wave if you're local! LOL I had lap RNY on May 11th. I'm down almost 70lbs and 10 dress sizes (size 22/24 to a 12/14). Although I don't have a problem getting in my water and protien - I'm really slacking on the vitamins. I'm lucky if I take one multi/calcium a day. I'm supposed to be taking two. I love to work out. My work out schedule tends to be between 2-3hours a night at the gym every other night with my personal trainer.

Hi I'm Mike from central Iowa. I had RNY Lap on May 17th, my wife has her RNY Open 6 weeks earlier. I have lost 80 lbs so far and am within 5 pounds of my doctor's goal. My personal goal is 199, another 26 pounds to go. I have not had any problems with the recovery, no dumping, its almost like nothing ever happened. I am off all my medication. I have a ton more energy and enjoy exercising. My biggest problem is not having a workout partner and occasionally eating too quickly. Because of different shifts, I tend to workout and eat by myself. My wife is down over 90 pounds herself and doing well. Life is good. Hawkeye Mike
