I don't agree Megan. I just looked at yours and am very impressed with it! I was going for something like that but couldn't find backgrounds like that. Almost everything I found was solid backgrounds like I used. The main message board suggests using http://www.bigoo.ws/ and that's all I found there although they have so many I'd never find the time to look through all of them. I also found some at http://www.backgroundcity.com/ but they were about the same there too.
Yours looks great!! I see you had a great time at your HS reunion too!
Basically everything I learned today was from http://www.htmlgoodies.com/
I read the section on tables which is why I focused on that most. It really started with that because you couldn't read the tickers with most of the backgrounds I tried and I couldn't control the colors of those. I finally found a way to place it in a table to control the background colors where they can be read.
Take a look at my reply to Megan above. Those are good sights for tons of backgrounds but I would have preferred to find a background format like she has.
If it will help you I can send you the text file backup of my profile so you can see the HTML code I used. It may be a good reference so you can see what I used to make it display like that. If you want it, just let me know.

Thanks Kristen. Comparing your profile pic to your email photo you've definitely come a long way! You look great!
Thanks for the compliments. I travel a lot for work and there was out of town from June 13 till mid-July so I wasn't able to keep track during that time. Other than that I do try to keep regular records.
