How do you dump?
I'm not sure if I have dumped yet but when food does not agree with me, its coming out one way or the other
. I was BRAVE saturday(as most of you know, I'm a prson nurse)I decided since I was running late to try some of the chow hall breakfast. JUST 1 sausage link........and
...........my co-workers are like you are not a seasoned state worker your body is not used to the food yet. It was the first time I felt sleepy after
ing. Another thing I usually open my mouth amd the food rolls out(almost literally), this time it was almost projectile(sorry TMI). I never get hot or the racing pulse though.............I did when I would dump after my lap chole.
It was I think to oily, it all came up
............our porter(inmate-cleaner) was not happy because she has just cleaned the staff bathroom
.
Sorry so long!!

I don't tend to get hot but sometimes I do feel flushed. Sometimes my pulse races some but not every time. I usually just feel very weak and tired and have to lay down and sleep if possible. It's really worse when I'm somewhere that I cannot take a nap. Many times I feel nauseous and that lasts for quite a while although it's not bad enough to make me vomit. it's definitely not a fun experience but it's not as bad as I have heard others have.
I thought it was due to hypoglycemia because your pancreas dumps too much insulin and overcompensates but every time I've checked my blood glucose while dumping I was surprised to find it very high - usually at 150 - 170 and sometimes slightly higher.
Does anyone else find they have hyperglycemia instead too? Afterwards I find it gets down around 70 - 80 but have not seen it drop below that.
