Bigger Seats

Have you noticed that the seats are all getting bigger over the last 3 months?? The seats on the plane seemed to have got wider since the last time I flew last Summer - I can't think why I can't wait until next Summer - the seats will seem huge. No more worrying whether the arm rest will come down or not.

Great post, Ruth!! I fly a LOT for work (I'm a corporate event planner). Over the past couple of months I've noticed that the seats are huge again. Last summer I had an anxiety attack when I was stuck in a middle seat for a 5 hour plane ride. I felt horrible for the people sitting next to me. Now, although I of course prefer the aisle seat just because it's more roomy - I'm fine with whatever seat I have to get if it's a booked flight. I love it! I have three trips in the next two weeks. Atlanta, Boston and Dallas.

You get around don't you Megan. Say hi to Dallas for me. We flew home from there last Monday. Do you mind me asking, what work do you do that takes you all these places?

I do get around. ;) I'm a corporate event planner. I plan sales seminars, sales training, prestigous dinners, award ceremonies etc...

I flew last week and noticed the same thing. I have also noticed that the tables in booths aren't trying to cut my circulation off anymore. How nice of them!! Rachael

oh no freaking kidding? I just flew last november, wow, that was snug then in april, still pretty sad. then in june. better and then in august. whooowheee that was sweet. thought for sure I had upgraded to first class!

I can't wait to go try this one out. I'm going to Nashville in November and the last time I flew was last February when I was at my highest weight. It will be so nice to actually not have to worry about my thighs bumping the person next to me and keeping my arms crossed in front of me the whole time! Jami
