Abandoned Jeans

That's 2 pairs of jeans I've had to abandon now as they literally fall off me - I can't keep them up. I feel sorry for them - they haven't even reached the end of their life yet, I'm going to have to find a good home for them so they don't feel lonely. I'm still wearing everything else even though some things are getting very baggy. Ha ha, can't wait to be cruel to my latest pair and abandon them too when I get too small. (It sounds weird to say they get too big - it sounds like they are growing rather than me shrinking??????) What clothes have you been cruel to so far and abandoned?

Ruth your post was so cute and made me giggle. GREAT attitude!! I got rid of my entire wardrobe about 6 weeks ago that was 22's and 24's. Mistake I made was rushing out and purchasing an entire new wardrobe size 18's - and not from a goodwill store. I spent a small fortune. Now, I'm down to a size 12/14 and all of those clothes I bought 5-6 weeks ago are too big for me. I need to go out and buy all new clothes again. This time, I'm shopping at Target!! LOL I'm not spending a fortune again when they could be out the window in a few weeks.

Good grief Megan!!! You really are the incredible shrinking woman aren't you. How much have you lost now, how much to go if you don't mind me asking? You really are an inspiration to us

You're always complimenting me, Ruth. God love you girl. I need to keep you in my back pocket!! *hugs* I started at 272 on May 11th and today I'm 202. So I've lost 70lbs. My surgeon's goal for me is 165. Mine is between 145-150. So I'm 37lbs from surgeons goal and about 50lbs from mine. WOW I never realized I was only 37lbs from my surgeons goal. That made me excited!

I am getting to that place. I have been wearing shorts and they were elastic waist so no problem. BUT they are getting bigger now. I am going to try and fins something to wear to church and think I may have a problem. I think all my capri's are going to fall off me. This should be interesting. Megan, you want to sell your 18's?? Let me know - I would be willing to buy them all from you. Ruth, what size are you jeans?

The larger pair size 26/28 went to charity. The ones I abandoned today are 24's. Hope you find something suitable for church - you may have to remain sitting down otherwise!! No dancing until you get some 'safe' clothes

I have tons of 18's. Almost all are skirts (work) and they're all summer. Are you sure you're interested being tha fall is around the corner? If so, I'll take lots of pictures.

I just boxed up my abandoned Jeans in sizes 30, 28, and 26. I don't know what I will do with them yet. The piece of clothing I feel sorry for is my underwear. I just throw those away every week....can't get those at goodwill!!!! Rachael

yes, I have a closet floor of illegitimate step children that are just wasting away. I am adding a pair of Old Navy Cargo shorts that have been my dear friends since 2002. they FIT no MORE!

Coincidentally, I just went through my closet yesterday and bagged up three 32 gallon trash bags full of clothes. None of the clothes I was wearing 3 months ago fit anymore. That's a good feeling but I don't want to have to go out and buy more clothes that won't fit for very long either. Luckily I had some I had saved that I grew out of and was able to pull them out but after these get too big I'm gonna have to buy some more or go around naked!
