Breakfast - cup of hot tea Lunch - 1 slice of bread with thin slices of cheese on top Dinner - slice of pizza (yes i know bad choice - the rest of the family wanted take-out). It actually didn't go down well - the thought was much nicer than the reality! Wish I'd opted for something else now. I'm going to have a protein shake later. Have had several drinks inbetween (hot tea & crystal light peach tea)

Wow Katherine, aren't you hungry? LOL It doesn't look as though you are eating anything. Are you not hungry or did surgery take away the hunger? I am hungry almost all the time but the 2oz. of chicken, tuna, whatever does fill me up. Do you add any veggies or fruit to your diet? I try to eat 2 oz of veggies with my dinner meat and 2 oz. of fruit as a snack in the afternoons. I'm afraid that if I diet intensely now that I will gain when I reach my goal and start eating more variety. I try to eat a variety now. So far I haven't found anything that makes me dump although I haven't pushed the fat or sugar limit to find out either. It looks as though you are getting very few calories. I'm up to about 600-700 per day. My protein drink alone is 105 callories for 25g protein. How much protein are you getting and how do you get it? Please don't think I'm being nosey or anything I just really want to learn to keep my calories down and get the most out of my proteins. What is zipfizz? Never heard of it. I bet you are loosing weight really quickly. I average a few pounds a week but my body is fighting me tooth and nail to keep the last 50 on. LOL... Thanks for letting me vent and ask questions. Take care and congrats on your losses! Elena

occasionally I do get hungry, today I 'accidentally' skipped lunch, but I had a great dinner: 1.75 oz of turkey meatloaf 1.75 oz of squash / zuccinni/ bell peppers but overall, I eat three times a day, and only three, no snacking, a process that I started 3 months before the surgery. also the lean meats and leafy green veggies I started three months before as well, so that I am eating my proteins first. overall I am getting about 25 grams of protien a day. because protien drinks are so high in calories, my doctor does not include them in the diet. I have tried them several times anyways and find that they are so chock full of spenda that they are too sweet and my heart starts to race. I really do not consider this 'intensely' dieting, since my surgery left me with a .5 oz pouch. it has taken me 3 months to stretch it out to 1.75 oz. I try to eat a variety, if I have a poached egg, I roll it up in a leaf of romaine lettuce. but some days it is just too much of a pain, so I start with the protein, and then pick up the veggies as I a can. zipfizz is b12 in a powder form, add to a bottle of water and suck it down. I am loosing weight pretty normally, 3 lbs a week. nothing very earth shattering the first three months. the last 50 is going to take the most discipline for me, I am already wandering out of the 'safe' zone here and there, flour tortilla here, carrots there. but as I told the doctor, I can do anything for three months and then I start to wander.

B--half of a scrambled egg, couple bites of toast which sat HEAVY. No desire for toast anymore! L--pintos and cheese from taco bell S--Pure Protein bar D--3 bites of South Beach pizza. Didn't go down well. My Dietician told me she thinks it's "stressed" induced. But I have 2 small children and there is NO way I can have a relaxing dinner! I'm just frustrated that sometimes I can eat and other times I can take a couple bites and then that's it. I'm not really complaining though because part of me thinks that is cool! But it is frustrating to try and get all my protein in and have problems like this. Hopefully I won't have any tummy issues tomorrow! Deanna
