Updated my profile

Wow finally figured out how to update my profile. Did it quickly just to have one - but I did it!!

Thanks for the compliment, Deanna. If I have lost hair, I haven't noticed it. My hair is so long and thick that I'm always having a brush full of hair. Nothing more then usual. I need to knock on wood. Losing my hair was one of my greatest concerns prior to the surgery as it is my "trademark". I've tried to be very good about getting in my protien and taking the biotin supplement to avoid it at all costs. Have you been taking the supplement?

Well, your hair is gorgeous! You have every right to be protective of it!!! I cut all my hair off years ago and I'm dreaming about growing it back out. But I'm waiting until whatever wants to fall out, falls out. Then maybe I'll grow it back out! But for now, I'm keeping it short and hopefully I won't go bald! I didn't think I would worry about it so much but to be quite honest, it kind of freaks me out! The only time I notice it a lot is when I'm in the shower and then I see quite a bit coming off in my hands. Scary! Nope, haven't tried Biotin. How much do you take??? Deanna

I only take 2500mg a day. I know a lot of RNYers take 5000mg. Also, some people take it with ZINC as well. Have you tried the Nioxin shampoo yet?

Dark hair, eyes and olive skin. Never would guess, aye? As far as the little girl - yes she's mine as well. I'm not her biological mother however I've raised her from birth. How did you make the changes to your profile to get the background for example? Did you use HTML from MySpace or something?

Hi Rick, Yes you nailed it. You use the same HTML codes that you use for myspace. There is a post on the main message board everyday explaining how to do it. I'll go over and see if I can snag it and repost it here for you. Megs
