Goodbye Hair!!!!
Good God child - I was excited about fitting into a size 13 in the Jr's department last night but you're in a size 10!!!! GOOOODDDNESSS!! YOU GO!
Sorry to hear about the hair. I had been "bragging" that I hadn't noticed any loss but this morning as I was showering I realized that my hair is thinning, too. I have such a long thick head of hair that no one will notice I hope.
Have you been taking biotin?
Know any place that sells good wigs? ha ha. I did the Nioxin Shampoo up until it ran out last month, but I do need to start taking Biotin. I am so jealous of your beautiful thick hair. Mine was too fine to afford to lose any in the first place, plus I have been straightening it lately & I know that is hard on it too.
Great job on the juniors department!!! Doesn't that give you so many more options to choose from? You will really start going through sizes now. I am really shocked at how little difference there is between sizes once they get smaller. Does that make sense? I mean, when I was going from 18w to 16w, it was a big difference when you hold them up beside each other. But going from a 10 to an 8 is a smaller difference. My girlfriend skipped size 8 & went straight to size 6 when she was losing weight.
Dar
Woohoo....size 10
Now that MUST feel better than turtle cheesecake looks & tastes right???? How many lbs have you lost in total now, do you mind me asking?
I haven't noticed any hair loss yet. I'm dreading it as my hair is so fine anyway (from bleaching and straightening plus genetics!). I really must get sorted on this Biotin - do you get it from the internet?
I've noticed some hair in my comb a few times over the past couple of weeks after washing my hair and never had that happen before. I just use a larger comb now until the tangles are out and am not finding it to be as bad.
I wouldn't worry about it though, it's only temporary anyway and most find it's not bad enough for anyone else to notice. It's due to a medical condition called Telogen Effluvium and is a result of the trauma we endured during surgery and anesthesia.
Take a look at the article link below and hopefully it will put your mind at ease about it.
