Been MIA - Update on me
Hello Fellow May WLS Friends!!
I'm really sorry that I've been MIA from the board. I've been thinking of all of you so often and I hope that everyone is doing amazingly. We're so blessed!!
Quick update on me: I'm down 50+lbs since surgery date - but down a total of 70lbs from last year at this time. I started this journey on May 11th (day of surgery) in a size 22-24. Today I'm inbetween a 14-16. I bought a size 14skirt from American Eagle today. I no longer shop in the "PLUS Stores". I'm comfortable shopping in all of the girlie girl stores again. *WOOT WOOT*. I bought my FIRST IN MY LIFE two piece bathing suit this weekend. It's a two piece - but covers my stomach. ;) My stomach is *almost* flat. I won't need a tummy tuck. I will need major under arm skin removal however.
I'm still working out 2+ hours 6 days a week. My personal trainer is AMAZING. I love working out!! He's so yummy... that really pushes me. I'm taking all of my vitamins but I'm not getting in protien the way I Should be. Shame on me. Anyone else having
issues not getting in your protien?
I would have this surgery a million times over and over again. I get sick a lot from food - but even that dosen't discourage my new love for life!!

Excellent job on your weightloss and working out! It never hurts to have a hunk helping to keep you motivated!
I too am having problems getting all my protein in. I get all my vitamins/supplements and water in each day. But protein is another story. I eat protein at every meal and I have a protein bar each day. I'm trying! I just never quite make that 60 grams per day!

Megan, I checked out your pics and you look great! You sound so positive. It's great to "hear" all that enthusiasm! I, too, am still getting sick pretty often and am having a very difficult time getting all my protein in. At least we're trying, right? You go girl on those workouts! I can't believe you spend over 2 hours a day working out!!! You're a maniac! (If only I could count diaper changes as a workout--lol!) Keep up the great work!
