I drink milk (skim and skim chocolate), water (flavored and plain) and a little Crystal Light. I have not had carbonated beverages, pop or beer, because why tempt myself to get into old habits? I used to drink about 64 ounces a day of diet pepsi. I can drink tea or coffee with no problems, only thing is I just don't like the taste of them and never have. Tomorrow will be my 2 month WLS anniversary. Good luck on your weight loss. Although everyone is different I have had no dumping, no pain from surgery, no probelms tolerating new foods, no problems at all. I am off all my medicine, blood work looks great and have now lost a total of 65.8 pounds with only 21 pounds to go till doctor's goal and 41 pound to my goal. Yes I am the exception to the rule. Hi Hawkeye Mike - I had the same surgery date as you, and used to drink the same amount of diet pepsi you did. I seem to miss the diet pepsi more than anything else! Happy 2 month surgiversary! Heather

Hi Tierra I cant' drink plain water either. So here's what I can drink - milk (that goes down really well), tea / coffee I can tolorate about 1/2 a cup at a time, fruit teas, water with lemon in and apple jiuce (I can't take any citrous fruit juice like orange). I cant' get crystal light over here, but am going to stock up when I visit TX in August.

Oh Dar, you are so sweet. 'Over here' is Britain. My husband and daughter are Texan and we lived in Dallas, TX until returning to Britain 3 1/2 years ago. So I alway stock up on all the things I miss when we visit family and friends each year. I'm really going to miss freeto chips this year! (my guess is that they are not on the WLS diet ha ha) Thanks for the offer, but I really can wait a few more weeks. We always take an extra bag with us for all the goodies we buy to bring back.

Ok, but if you ever get the "urge" for something you can't find there, please don't hesitate to let me know. I sell my kids clothes and stuff on ebay internationally so I know how to ship to the UK. Dar

My latest drink interest is to go to 7/11 and get a 44oz cup of ice and a bottle of diet snapple and fill it 1/2 way with snapple and 1/2 with water ( the snapple and many other drinks are too strong by themselves.) I sip on it for hours and usually the ice melts before I can finish. But at least I know I tried my best to drink as much as I could. Jen
