Hello fellow May Losers! I had my surgery May 2nd & I couldn't be happier. I have dropped about 60 lbs. I have had some trouble w/ things NOT tasting good, but I still do very good. I would love to hear from other May people. Just found this on my state board. I guess I should look a little better, huh? LOL!!! Anyway, Please feel free to E Mail me or post a reply. Sara.

Hi! I just found this too! I had my RNY on May 4th. I'm down 50.5 pounds as of today! Some of my food doesn't tatse good either. It's so awesome to know other people are going through the same things I am right now. None of my friends seem to understand what I am talking about but everyone here is going through the same exact thing. I have to say though this has been much easier than I thought it would be. Congrats on the 60lbs. That is so great, keep up the good work and keep us posted. Diana

Hi Sara! Wow, Congratulations on your big loss! My taste buds have changed also. I can actually taste the minerals and chemicals in water now. I used to drink a ton of it but now have to have the flavored kind to get it down. I have been pretty good about keeping my food down, but got sick twice with deli turkey. I think the way I eat it, all rolled up is too quick. It feels like it gets stuck in my chest. The first time I thought I was having a heart attack and almost called an ambulance, the pain was so bad. I guess we are all just learning how are "new" bodies function now. Take care, --Suzette--

Hi, Sara I too just found this sight this would work much better for us to use as a trial and error, I am done only 39 pounds but that is because I am having trouble getting my protein in but once I got that under control my gall stones decided they wanted to get fussy, one doctor I recently seen thinks it maybe an ulcer so now I have to have an endoscope. Has anyone had this done? but if their is no ulcer then my gallbladder will be removed hopfully very soon. Keep up with the weightloss, send me some pointers Maria ps had mine done on may 2 at 1:30
