Hi. I had my RNY on May 22, 2006. I have lost 27 pounds since then, which is about 20% of my body weight. I am also stuck at a plateau (for almost 2 weeks) like many of you and getting a little discouraged. I have increased my exercise and hopefully will start dropping again soon. Thanks for listening. --Suzette-

It will start dropping again. It is nice to know that we are all going through this together. Keep us posted. Hugs, Darlene

Hi Suzette Sounds like we're all with you on thi****ting the plateau. Lets stick together and we'll see it through, even tho it's frustrating

Thanks for the encouragement! I am becoming obsessed with weighing myself and making myself crazy. I keep kicking the scale under the bed farther and farther, so I can't reach it. But then I crawl under the bed and pull it out again. Maybe next time I will just throw it out. What is everyone doing as far as exercise? I got the "OK" this week to resume my walk aerobic DVD's, which I did prior to surgery. I lost 25 pounds in the 3 months before my operation so I know they work well with me. --Suzette--

Hi there! We have the same surgery date. I am down 34 pounds, but I have plateaued twice. It's frustrating, but it will start coming off soon. Good luck!!
